Moonlight Mania 3/25-3/27

Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you all had a great week. Quick note: if you didn't read Wednesday's post, you definitely need to check it out: Acceptances/Rejections: A Writer's Emotional Rollercoaster. For those of you who missed it last week, I have something interesting for you!

Nocturnal Readings is starting it's own blog hop! That's right, the title of this post, Moonlight Mania, is our new blog hop. 'Why Moonlight Mania?', you ask. How often do you find a really really fantastic book that you just can't put down? That keeps you up into the wee hours of the night, manically flipping pages until you reach the epic ending. What does this have to do with a blog hop? I'll explain.

Moonlight Mania is open to any and all book bloggers--regardless of genre. Though I ask that no one enter Twitter accounts onto the linky list. Blogs only!

Here's how it works. To participate in the hop, you must be a follower of this blog. After you're a follower, enter your-name@ Blog's name (genres you review) into the linky list. For example, Kaitlyn@ Nocturnal Readings (YA, UF, PNR). Get it? Then once you've entered the linky list, copy and paste the beautiful blog button into a post on your blog. Check it out:

Moonlight Mania

The hop starts at 11:59pm every Thursday night. Each week we'll have a different midnight reading themed question.

So ready, set, go! Enter into the linky list below and have fun hopping! And don't forget to answer the blog hop question in your own blog post!

This week's question is: What was the last book that touched you emotionally right before you went to bed? Have you ever read something late into the night that's so beautiful, you can't help but let the tears pour?

My answer: The last book that kept me up into the night and made me cry was Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. Though it was my least favorite of the three HG books, it still left me with a beautiful, bittersweet feeling in my heart.

Have fun on the hop! Also, don't forget the check out the regular hops we participate in as well. The links are below.
