Happy
Friday, everyone! I'm sure you're all glad it's the weekend! And the
weekend means, it's time for some blog hopping. So please hop on over to
Parajunkee's View or Alison Can Read,
and hop around to some new blogs. You can also participate in the
social media hop as well and our second blog hop at Crazy-for-Books! So have fun and check out my answer to the
weekly blog hop question below. Cheers!
This week's question:
If you could "unread" a book which would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?
My Answer: Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. WORST book I have EVER read, and such a huge disappointment since I enjoyed the other books in the series. Breaking Dawn kind of ruined the whole Twilight saga for me personally.
Second hop question: Do you immediately write a review upon finishing a book or do you wait and write multiple reviews at once?
My Answer: Neither. I usually only write one review at a time and it's usually a few days after I've read the book, not immediately. Also, there are a lot of books that I read that I don't review on this site, because they're not in my review genre.
On
Monday I'm telling my publishing story about my paranormal romance series, the EXECUTION UNDERGROUND, debuting with HQN in September 2013!!!
Don't miss out =)
I agree, Breaking Dawn was just atrocious.

It truly was. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI can agree with Breaking Dawn. I was liking the series until that book. I would probably be more of a twilighter if this book didn't exist. Great answer! New follower via GFC!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Megan. I KNOW I would be more of a Twilighter is that book hadn't been written. I was a huge fan of the series until that book released. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for following!
DeleteI enjoyed Breaking Dawn, but I didn't have very high expectations for it. It's certainly my least favorite of the series, though. New RSS feed follower. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for following! I had high expectations for it. I even waited in line at the midnight release so I could get the book. SO disappointing.
DeleteI didn't read Breaking Dawn (didn't actually like the Twilight series. Wish I'd stopped after book one). No offense.
ReplyDeleteMy follow friday. Please visit
None taken, veela. I understand completely. It's not the greatest writing in the world, but I did enjoy the stories and the characters, up until the last book that is.
DeleteGREAT answer. I actually loved "Breaking Dawn" upon first read, but now I just can't stand the epic fail.

Here's my FF
Rebecca of Vicariously!
Rebecca--Thanks for following! I felt the same exact way when I was first reading it I was like "okay, this isn't that great but whatever" and then once I finished it and thought about it my thoughts were "Man, this is the most awful thing I've ever read? Jacob being drawn to her because of the eggs in her uterus??? Really??"
DeleteI enjoyed Twilight up until Breaking Dawn just not sure what happened there first time was okay but I just read it a few months back again and wow I struggled to get through it again.

Thanks for following! Yeah, it's awful. I can think of a million different ways to have ended it better.
DeleteI agree...I can't read multiple books at a time, and definitely can't write reviews for more than one book at at time.
ReplyDeleteI write as I am reading.
Stop by my blog for my full answer if you like.
Giveaway going on at my blog as well.

Elizabeth--Thanks for stopping by! I can read more than one book at a time, and I do all the time, and I can write multiple reviews in one day, but I don't always write the review directly after finishing the book.
DeleteHi, sorry I'm late to the hop! love the blog and followed on GFC. I would love it if you could check out my blog: http://readingunderthewillowtree.blogspot.co.uk/
