Woo hoo Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Courtesy of our friends over at Cali Cheer Mom, we've decided to borrow their wonderful idea for Woo hoo Wednesdays!

I've had a really really crappy week. Between unjustified parking violations, loosing my job at the school newspaper because of budget cuts, and having the last straw with a once good friend, this has NOT been a very good birthday week.

So in order to remind myself of all the good things in my life, I figured a Woo Hoo Wednesday was in order. Here is what I'm thankful for:

--My family, my fiance, and my two adorable but monstrous pets
--My three closest gal pals: Laura, Lisa and Britt
--The time I've been able to spend writing this week, no matter how small
--My less stressful than usual semester
--The pancakes David made me this morning so I'd feel better
--The big statue of Buddha my mom bought me for my bday, which I put in my office
--My bellydance sisters
--The residents at my work
--That a worker at my work, who always gave me problems, quit.
--That I'm going to Arabian Nights in Orlando with my family and Laura on Friday for my bday
--That we've almost reached our 100 Follower Challenge goal

So how about you, what are you thankful for?

Don't forget the 100 Follower Challenge ends Friday! We only have ten more spots to go! I know we can do it, but we better hurry! If we get there in time, I'll draw the names via a random name generator over the weekend and the winners will be announced on Monday! Also, don't forget that for every ten followers over 100 I'll give away another book.

On Monday I'll be doing a review of Larissa Ione's Pleasure Unbound, the first book in the Demonica Series. I follow her on Twitter and see she talks with fans a lot. Too bad I can't get an interview lol. Maybe when I'm a better known blogger.

Til Friday!

  2. Aww you're so one of my gal pals! ;D
You just have to remember that without the downs, we can have no ups. The hill will crest again soon :)
But happy birthday week :D *throws confetti* Only ten away! :D

  3. Yeah, the fact that the parking thing is somewhat fixed now makes it better. Plus, Laura might have found me a work study job in English office. Then I'd get paid for basically doing my homework lol. Thanks! *dances in the confetti* lol

I'm so excited only ten more! Can't wait til Friday to see how many we end up with...and my bday of course ;-)

  5. Thanks, Kelly =) I'm sure it will be. I only have one class tomorrow and then my 'weekend' has arrived, even though I have to work. But I'm really looking forward to the dinner show Friday. Should be fun, and of course, who doesn't love birthday presents? Lol.
